About Steve

Steve Dargan - Personal Trainer, Wodonga

As a kid who grew up in the country, sport was my best friend. Winter time was for footy (Aussie rules) and summer was for cricket and tennis.

At the age of 10 saw the start of my football career. Over the years I was lucky enough to be able to captain several sides and also play representative footy, both interleague and state level.

At the age of 15 I walked into my first boxing gym. Initially it was to supplement my football training, but soon grew into much more. I loved the challenge that boxing gave me, and the way it tested me mentally on a daily basis. As my fitness and skills grew so did the belief I had in myself!

By age 19 I had retired from football as my love of boxing had taken over!

During my boxing years I was able to win 2 Victorian Titles, a Golden Gloves Title, and I also had the opportunity to represent Victoria in the Abrose Palmer Shield (Victoria versus South Australia).

Through boxing I was fortunate enough to train with some amazing coaches, trainers and fighters! The training technique they taught me i.e plyometrics, medicine ball, swiss ball, resistance band, running drills and overall strength and conditioning gave me an endless amount of training knowledge which I am now happy to pass on to others. Making sure that I can supply a wide variety of training to potential and existing clients!
